Windows XP Firewall

Firewalls limit network traffic arriving to and leaving from your computer.

To enable the Windows XP built-in firewall, follow these steps:

  1. From the Start menu, open Control Panel.
  2. Open the Security Center.
  3. Open the Windows Firewall.
  4. Select the On (recommended) option.
  5. Click OK.
