Windows XP Firewall
Firewalls limit network traffic arriving to and leaving from your computer.
To enable the Windows XP built-in firewall, follow these steps:
- From the Start menu, open Control Panel.
- Open the Security Center.
- Open the Windows Firewall.
- Select the On (recommended) option.
- Click OK.
